When our clients purchased this 1930s Tudor home in Hamilton, much of its original charm had been stripped away after years as a student rental. We set out to restore its soul — gutting the main floor and second-floor bathroom, building a 20' x 6' mudroom addition, and introducing timeless architectural detail throughout.

The kitchen anchors the design, featuring a curved range alcove mirrored by a custom oak island, brass fixtures, and natural stone surfaces. Recessed steel beams opened the layout for a more connected main floor, blending modern functionality with historic character.

From the custom oak vanities to the towel rack handpicked on our trip to Marrakech, every detail reflects thoughtful craftsmanship and warmth. The result is a home that feels both new and nostalgic — rich in texture, light, and personality.
