OLD OAKVILLE

Oakville, ON

When our clients first reached out, they were eager to reimagine their 1908 heritage-designated home in Old Oakville—balancing historical character with modern family living. We developed a comprehensive whole-home design plan focused on improving flow, function, and long-term livability.

The scope includes a reconfiguration of key living areas, updates to multiple bathrooms, and the introduction of tailored spaces to support daily routines. Focus was placed on the main living zones, where custom millwork, integrated storage, and refined layouts enhance functionality while preserving architectural integrity. Working within heritage constraints, the design prioritizes proportion, symmetry, and original detailing.

Material direction centres on painted wood paneling, warm neutrals, unlacquered brass, and natural stone. A curated furniture and decor plan brings warmth, texture, and continuity throughout. Through architectural planning, interior design, and sourcing, the result is a cohesive heritage home renovation in Old Oakville—balancing character, comfort, and modern functionality.
