When our clients engaged us to reimagine their Westdale home, the goal was to unlock space, improve flow, and create a functional multi-generational layout. This full-scale renovation includes a rear addition, structural underpinning, and a complete interior reconfiguration for modern family living.

The design centres on a seamless rear addition that expands the main floor, creating an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area with strong natural light and indoor-outdoor connection. Structural upgrades, including underpinning, allow for increased ceiling heights and a fully integrated lower level.

A key feature is a self-contained in-law suite, designed to provide flexibility, privacy, and long-term livability, with dedicated living, sleeping, and kitchen areas.

Throughout, the home balances clean architectural planning with warm, natural materials—custom millwork, layered lighting, and refined finishes that enhance both function and atmosphere.
